It’s time for the NMCA to kick off another season at Bradenton Motorsports Park March 8-11 with the 16th Annual NMCA Muscle Car Mayhem event. The docket for this race is filled with top-level action, with shootouts, class racing, and much more. All of the racing will be broadcast again this year live RIGHT HERE on SpeedVideo.com in HD.
The 2017 Xtreme Pro Mod title was decided at the final event by the narrowest of margins, so the racers in this class will be bringing the big lumber to the Muscle Car Mayhem event to get an early advantage in the points. Radial Wars is another exciting class that will be featured at the NMCA’s first event and is packed with some of the fastest small-tire machines in the nation.
Racers in the Stock/Super Stock Combo class will be returning to the NMCA for 2018 after a wildly successful debut season last year. There will be plenty of wheels-up racing action from this class where the racing is tight and old brand wars are always hot. Complementing the Stock/Super Stock Combo class will be the Factory Super Cars class. Holley has put up huge money for the first competitor in this eliminator to lay down a seven-second pass in competition, so all the racers will be going for broke when qualifying begins.
Outlaw 632 will be back at the Muscle Car Mayhem event with a shootout of their own. These cars are capable of laying down low four-second times and are packing tons of nitrous power under the hood. New for 2018 at Muscle Car Mayhem will be the Dodge/Mopar Hemi Shootout, designed for all the 2005 and newer Gen III-powered machines. There is a limit of 75 vehicles and the racing will feature classes for competitors of all levels.
