  1. Camaro’s of Michigan likes going to the 1st annual car show to show support. We went to this one and got there early an hour and there were already a few people that were already there. There were about 10 bikes that were parked alongside the building and we started to clean the car up a bit from the road dirty on our way there. The weather was very hot and muggy and no breeze and of course, we didn’t bring our canopy to this car show but, we put our chairs also alongside the building to get out of the sun. We watched all of the cars come in slowly and then when it was the time we registered our car and they gave us a dash plaque and 2 blue tickets. As the day went on people were coming and going that had parked their car to be entered and we thought that since there was not a lot of cars is why people were leaving. We are guessing that there were about 25-30 cars there and we saw a woman who was dressed up like a Ghostbuster character and had a jeep also like the Ghostbuster. They had food which you could go inside and get and they were looking for a donation of $5 and since this was at the VFW also had an open bar they you could buy drinks if you wanted. This is the second time I went to a car show that you could buy drinks. As the day went on and was getting to the end people were leaving that paid to register, I guess that didn’t want to wait to see if they won anything. The car show was supposed to end at 4pm but, they were off schedule and started judging cars at 3pm which took until 4:45pm to get judged and to figure out who won what category. They had about 15 awards to give away and some bikes won and we also won an award for 1st place mod 75 to pre in our class. We were not expecting it but they loved our camaro with all of the mirrored pieces that we had on the car and also our led lights in my engine bay. That pretty much ended my day at this car show. We might be going back to this car show next year if they have it next year.
