Join us for the 24th Annual Car show. “Rain or Shine”Top “50” awards and 12 “Best of ” awards. Dash plaques to the first 100. 62 Total Awards $15 day of, $12 to all pre-registration. Hosted by : Team Thunder & Lightning Car Club.

Judging will begin at 11am

  1. This was our first time at this car show. We arrived about 8am and there were a few cars there and we came down there with 3 people in our group and also met someone that we knew from Facebook. The weather was sunny and warm and there was a lot of cottonwood flying around so, we didn’t roll down our windows until later in the day. There was a large palvillion and of the cars parked under it for shade. They had a 50/50 and a silent auction and we found out that there were red tickets that people had but, we didn’t receive any of the tickets or how to get them for the raffle and found out later that they were given to only certain people. As the day went one there were a lot of cars there about 200 or more showed up for this event. Next door they had a farmers market which was nice for people to go to also. They had a DJ and later a live band played. When the time came to give out the trohpies Kylie spoke about what the car show was for and about and where the money was going to go to and how much they raised last year. They gave out the top 50 in plaques and then they gave out mailboxes with like the best engine and the mayor’s choice etc. And they gave out 2 bigger trophies from older trophies from some of the car show people families that have passed away that the families wanted to donate to the car show. When it was all done Kylie was waving goodbye to people as they were leaving the show which I thought was very nice. We will be coming back to this show next year. Until the next show.

The weather was a little breezy cloudy and later the sun came out and warm things up. There was a large pavilion and of the cars parked under it for shade. We parked under the pavilion that a friend was saving a spot for us. They had a 50/50 and a silent auction. As the day went one there were a lot of cars there about 200 or more showed up for this event. Next door they had a farmers market which was nice for people to go to also. They had a DJ and later a live band played. When the time came to give out the trophies Kylie spoke about what the car show was for and about and where the money was going to go to and how much they raised last year. They gave out the top 50 in plaques and we won! this year and then they gave out flower pots with wrenches for the best of show the best engine and the mayor’s choice etc. When it was all done Kylie didn’t wave goodbye to people as they were leaving like last year. The show which I thought was very nice. We will be coming back to this show next year. Until the next show.

The weather was a very breezy cloudy and later the rain came with thundering and lightning. There was a large pavilion and of the cars parked under it for cover from the rain. We parked under the pavilion in hope to be protected from the rain. They had a 50/50 and a silent auction. As the day went one there were not that many cars this year. I think the rain scared them off. Next door they had a farmers market which was nice for people to go to also. They had a DJ and later a live band played. There was someone doing magic tricks for the kids. They did the awards early because of the lighting so everyone could go home. It was cold also for June. When the time came to give out the trophies Kylie spoke about what the car show was for and about and where the money was going to go to and how much they raised last year. She started crying because she was so happy that we were all there. They gave out the top 50 in plaques and we didn’t win any plaque. And then they gave out told boxes with goodies inside for the best of show the best engine and the mayor’s choice etc. Well, this year we won best engine. We were not expecting that. We took a photo with Kylie with our toolbox. When it was all done Kylie didn’t wave goodbye to people as they were leaving like last year. The show which I thought was very nice. We will be coming back to this show next year. Until the next show.
