The weather was sunny and with a little breeze and sat under our canopy with friends. There was about 800 cars there some for everyone from old to newer cars. Had a great time walking around looking at all the cars. We didn’t win a trophy or the 50/50 raffles. I guess we can’t win them all. Until next year.
We ran into some rain on the way to the show. When we arrived about 7:15am the rain had stopped and the sun was trying to come out but, the clouds did not have any of that. It was cloudy all day and a few sprinkles later on into the day and then it rained harder for about 20mins and then it stopped again. They had 50/50 2 times but, we didn’t win anything. We sat under the canopy with a friend and people that he knew would come and talk to him and I also had some people come and talk to me also. We brought some food this time and there was no one really to eat it since it was not a good day for a car show so, there were not as many cars I would say about 600 were there this year. They had a pancake breakfast for $5 and food vendors. They had a live auction to raise money for cancer and they had many items to auction off. They also had many classes 3 1st, 2nd, and 3rd awards in each class. Well we won! 2nd place for 1982 or newer Camaros. one of our club members won an award and another member won the people’s choice. When they were doing the awards it started to rain again. On the way home the sun came out of course. Until next year
When we arrived it was a very nice morning but, there was rain in the forecast for today. They had 50/50 2 times but, we didn’t win anything. We sat under the canopy with friends and there were a few people there that we knew. My wife was nice enough to make us and our friends breakfast Tacos. We had a gas grill from a friend that brings his teardrop camper. We had plenty and ask some of our other friends if they wanted some. There were as many cars as it normally is. I would say about 600 were there this year. They had a pancake breakfast for $5 and food vendors. They had a live auction to raise money for cancer and they had many items to auction off. They also had many classes 3 1st, 2nd, and 3rd awards in each class. Well, we won! again 1st place for 1982 or newer Camaros. one of our club members won an award and another member won the people’s choice. We decided to make a sign for them to auction off from Camaro’s of Michigan to help out with the action for next year. Until next year!
