Special Edition Hot Wheels Camaro Available For Order

For those looking to add to their life-sized toy collection, Chevrolet just announced that the Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Edition will be available to order February 1, 2018. Originally revealed in October of 2017 at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, potential buyers had to wait to place their order.

Chevrolet and Hot Wheels revealed the 2018 Camaro Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Edition, celebrating 50 years of partnership, performance innovation, and design. The commemorative package pays homage to iconic Hot Wheels features including a Crush exterior color and stripes that replicate the toys’ famous orange tracks.

The $4,995 package is available for any coupe or convertible 2LT and 2SS model. For those buyers, the additional purchase includes a bevy of updates – ironically, an actual Hot Wheels toy does not appear to be included with purchase. But what they will get is the following:

  • Exclusive Crush exterior color

  • Satin Graphite stripes with Silver Ice Metallic accents

  • Satin Graphite ground effects

  • 20-inch forged aluminum wheels (with summer-only tires on SS) in Satin Graphite with milled faces and unique center caps

  • 50th Anniversary Hot Wheels fender badges

  • Unique grille with Galvano Chrome inserts

  • Orange brake calipers

  • Dark taillamps

  • Black taillamp panel with the Hot Wheels emblem

  • Black Chevrolet bowtie emblems

  • Jet Black leather-appointed interior with exclusive orange inserts and orange accent stitching

  • Orange kneepads on the doors and orange seat belts

  • Embossed front-seat headrests

  • 50th Anniversary Hot Wheels badge on the suede-wrapped steering wheel

  • Illuminated door sill plates with 50th Anniversary Hot Wheels badges

  • Premium carpeted floor mats with orange stitching and “ghost” stripes

If you’re looking to bolster your collection of Hot Wheels collectibles with a bit more metal, make sure to contact your local dealer for order details.

At the time of publication, the Hot Wheels Edition was not an available option on the Chevrolet vehicle configurator online.
