Video: Watch Baer Make Its 6-Piston Calipers

We don’t know about you, but we could watch components getting machined all day long. Especially when those component just so happen to be big beautiful brake kits from one of our favorite brake manufacturers, Baer Brakes.

In their recent video, Baer takes you inside their manufacturing head quarters in Phoenix, Arizona and shows you how babies are made…brakes, we meant brakes. These days it’s getting harder and harder to find parts companies that make everything right here in the good ol’ US of A, but that’s the way they’ve been doing it since they were founded by Hael Baer in 1986.

And we’re not just talking about their CNC work. All assembly, powder coating, and final inspection happen right here. The huge 6-piston monoblock calipers are works of art by themselves and the massive rotors that pair with them aren’t too hard on the eyes either.

Baer offers their dinner-plate-sized setups for just about every combination you can think of–as long as you are willing to run big enough wheels to fit them. They are the perfect way to modernize your braking system and also come in a myriad of awesome attention-grabbing colors–including paint matched hues. Sick of getting beat up on by brand new Corvettes and the like? Well, these big a$$ brake kits from Baer will have any ride stopping on a dime–and looking good doing it.

According to Baer, each component is hand inspected after machining to ensure quality. So, if you’re looking for a quality pair of binders, you might want to give Baer a look–or just watch this machining process on an infinite loop, either way.
