Have you ever found yourself lustfully starring at a brand new Camaro while telling yourself that you’d still rather have a first-gen? Well, today just might be your lucky day. Lingenfelter just announced its 2017 Camaro Dream Giveaway, in which it will raffle off not just one but two Camaros— A 2017 Camaro ZL1 and a first-gen F-body.
The first vehicle you’ll walk away with, if you just so happen to be the lucky winner, is a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 that has been tweaked by Lingenfelter and just so happens to be serial number one. That’s right, you could walk away with the very first ZL1 that Lingenfelter has ever put its magical touches on.
The crazy part about the giveaway, other than the part they they’ll give you two free cars, is that we still don’t even know the exact specs on the LPE Gen 6 ZL1. Lingenfelter says that the beast will have at least 800 horsepower, and even that might be a somewhat conservative rating when you are starting with a car that already makes 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. In fact, we are actually on a road trip with the 2017 ZL1 right this very second (stay tuned for the full story) and we are here to tell you that we’re not sure how it could possibly be any faster. However, knowing the guys over at Lingenfelter, they’ve definitely found a way to squeeze some additional speed out of the LT4.

While this isn’t the ZL1, it is a good example of just what LPE is capable of when modifying sixth-gen Camaros. We’ve yet to see the LPE ZL1 in person but judging by the pictures and the original, it’s going to be a stunner.
And if that’s not enough for you—you greedy bastard—Lingenfelter is throwing in a first-gen Camaro as well. The F-body is a 1967 Camaro Rally Sport that looks to be a restomod and we like to imagine is LS powered—though we aren’t exactly positive on that. Either way, the lucky winner will be headed home with two of the most beautiful Camaro ever produced.
But wait, there’s more! On top of all the Camaro-goodness Lingenfelter is prepared to dole out on one lucky entrant, they are also offering to pay up to $35,000 for taxes on the two vehicles. That means the lucky fan that walks away with these two bad ass rides does so virtually scot-free! If that doesn’t entice you to enter, we don’t know what will.

It is hard to believe that the design of the veritable sixth-gen ZL1 could be improved upon, but Lingenfelter has been doing it almost longer than anyone else and they’ve yet to disappoint us.
All of the proceeds from the raffle are headed to a good cause and will benefit our veterans and underprivileged children. Which means anyone entering is just being altruistic and if a couple of Camaros land in their lap in the process then so be it, right?
Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to enter to win both of these. Wish us lucky…on second thought, maybe don’t enter.
