These mirrored panels go right over the inside top of your existing air box. The mirrored panels are a 3-piece set 22 gauge mirrored stainless steel. If you are getting a powder-coated one it will be a 22 gauge aluminum that is powder-coated. Easy installation sticks it over inside or your existing air box. Easy installation just peel off the 3M automotive tape and stick into place. You will have to remove your CAI and take it apart to get the pieces installed and then put back together. If you ordered one of our powder-coated ones it will not have vinyl to peel off.

These mirrored panels go right over the inside top of your existing air box. The mirrored panels are a 3-piece set of 22 gauge mirrored stainless steel. If you are getting a powder-coated one it will be a 22 gauge aluminum that is powder-coated. Easy installation sticks it over inside or your existing air box. Easy installation just peel off the 3M automotive tape and stick it into place. You will have to remove your CAI and take it apart to get the pieces installed and then put it back together. If you ordered one of our powder-coated ones it will not have vinyl to peel off.

For instance, if you purchase parts for your Chevrolet Camaro that are not made by Chevrolet, they are considered aftermarket parts. Many individuals specifically use the term Camaro aftermarket parts when referring to custom parts for the Camaro, such as performance or customized appearance parts. However, even if you simply replace your Camaro brake pads with OEM-grade factory-style brake pads that are not manufactured by Chevrolet, those are also considered aftermarket Camaro parts. Throughout a vehicle’s lifespan, it is highly likely that aftermarket parts will be installed at some point, even if the vehicle is never actually modified extensively.

Note: These CAI panels will only fit the K&N 69-4520TP 69 Series Typhoon Polished Performance Intake Kit for a 2010 – 2012 V6 5th Gen Camaro. That might fit another K&N air box which we have not tested it to see how it fits.
Note: There may be some lines on the underside from handling, which you will not see once you install it on your Camaro. The K&N CAI Panels will come with protecting vinyl just simply pull off the protective vinyl to expose the beautiful mirrored or brushed finish.
There might be some residue from where the laser cut through the vinyl on the edges which, you can remove with 100% alcohol and a cotton pad. If you purchase one of our powder coating ones it does not come with protective vinyl.
The powder coating does not have a clear coat as you would have on your car. You could smudge it or scratch it when handling it. We try and package and ship it so, it does not smudge or scratch.
Very possiable that there may be some imperfections in the power coating which is out of our control.
