Wheel Warriors: RC Components Introduces Their Street Fighter Wheels

Striking a balance between street duty and track use can be a challenge when it comes to wheels for modern muscle cars. Each of these applications has different demands, and the brake sizes on these cars are large, so getting a smaller wheel to fit for drag racing is easier said than done. But RC Components has found a way to bridge the gap between street and track use with their StreetFighter wheels that fit GM, Ford, and Mopar modern muscle cars.

The reputation that RC Components has built around the performance of their drag racing wheels is impressive, and that was used in the development of the StreetFighter line of wheels. To make sure these wheels could deal with the rigors of both street and strip use RC Components engineered them to be strong, but also lightweight. The StreetFighter wheels are SFI certified, so when you bolt them up to your modern muscle car the peace of mind is there that they can take some abuse.

There are several different designs and finishes available for the StreetFighter wheels that have bolt-on fitment for late model GM, Ford, and Mopar vehicles. The wheels use a two-piece wheel design as their design base and come in a variety of backspacing options. For drag racing applications, the StreetFighter wheels come in a 15-inch size and 10-inch width to help save weight. For those who are interested in really putting some big power down, the StreetFighter wheels even have a single beadlock option to keep the tires held firmly in place.
