Our 6th Generation Camaro hood liner badges and trim come as a four-piece package: red, white, and blue inserts and a trim piece. This is not a painted plastic piece. The badges are made of 16-gauge aluminum and are powder-coated. The stainless steel mirrored trim piece is made of 20-gauge steel. These badges do not come with adhesive, so you will need to purchase adhesive separately to properly adhere them to the hood liner for a permanent fit. Installation instructions will be included with the badges. The edges are straight laser-cut with rounded corners around the badge, and they are not beveled. If you would like the trim piece, it is available for an additional charge, and you can also choose the type of finish.

Note: The mirrored or brushed trim piece will come with protective vinyl. Simply pull off the protective vinyl to expose the beautiful finish.
There might be some residue on the edges where the laser cut through the vinyl. You can remove it with 100% alcohol and a cotton pad. If you purchase one of our powder coated pieces, it does not come with protective vinyl.
The powder coating does not have a clear coat like what you have on your car. You could smudge or scratch it when handling it. We package and ship it to minimize smudging or scratching.
It is possible that there may be some imperfections in the powder coating that are out of our control.
If you order one of our aluminum pieces, it could have some scratches from fabrication. Keep that in mind when ordering.

The color pieces mounted fine the chrome piece looks horrible silicone leaks between letters and has to be removed with a knife very time consuming bad design.

Sorry to hear that you were not happy with the product. We don’t put silicone on our products. We think that you are referring to where the laser cut through vinyl which melts the vinyl a bit. All you have to do is clean it with some alcohol and a cotton pad as we have in our description will remove the residue without scratching it. We can’t remove the vinyl because we don’t want to scratch the piece. using a knife will could possibly scratch it. It’s Not our fault that you put too much silicone behind it and it came out around the CAMARO laser cut out. We have sold many of these and no one comment about what you are say. We try our best to make everyone happy but, sometimes we can’t please everyone.
